Description
POWER SUPPLY DIGI-PAK 2-12V 3 AMP
The IEC ‘Digi Pak’ power supply is a very compact unit with both switched and smoothly adjustable voltages available and a convenient sloping front panel. It is designed for general laboratory use and also for electronics where voltage regulation and a smooth ripple-free supply is important. The switched section is suitable for most general laboratory experiments where voltage regulation and DC ripple are not important. 4mm safety sockets are provided for both AC and DC outputs and they also accept standard banana plugs. The switched performance is the same as the famous LB2633-001 model. The regulated section of the power supply is smoothly adjustable and is monitored by an LED digital display providing accuracy to 0.1 volt. A convenient front panel indicator is green when the power is on and it changes from green to red when the power supply is overloaded.
Specifications:
Input | 220/240V.AC. 50/60Hz 0.5 Amp Standard removable mains cable |
On/Off | By mains on/off rocker switch mounted on rear panel. Power ON is monitored on front panel by green LED. Changes to red when overloaded |
AC output | Switch selected 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12V.AC (nominal) at 6 Amp continuous |
DC output | Switch selected 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12V.DC (nominal) full wave rectified and unfiltered up to 5A continuous. : If both the AC and DC switched outputs are used simultaneously, when the total load exceeds about 6 amps, the overload will trip. |
DC output | Smoothly adjustable from 1-16V.DC. at up to 3A. Non-precision switching regulator maintains preset output voltage. Maximum sag occurs at the maximum output power of 16V and 3A, but the regulation improves greatly at more normal lower voltages and smaller currents. Regulated voltage is monitored by red LED digital display and is accurate to 0.1V.DC. |
Protection | Overload and short circuit protection is by an audible, internal, automatically self-resetting thermal overload. Overload trip and reset is monitored also by a red LED on the front panel. Regulated output: This output automatically self-protects against overloads. |
