Endoscope Sterilisation / High Level Disinfection
Soluscope 3 is a complete system for cleaning and reprocessing endoscopes.

| FEATURE | THE SOLUSCOPE ADVANTAGE |
|---|---|
| Certification | Soluscope 3 meets the highest world standard for flexible reprocessors, UK HTM2030, European prEN 15883-4 and AS/NZ 4187-2003. Australian Certification ARTG 122580 AND ARTG 11580. |
| Double Monitoring | The soluscope 3 double checks all parameters to guarantee the 'scope is cleaned and sterilized / disinfected ensuring efficacy every time. |
| Single Use Chemistry | Peracetic Acis or Gluteraldehyde. Either is possible in Soluscope 3. All chemicals (detergents, biocide and alcohol) are automatically metered and injected at the required temperature guaranteeing efficacy. |
| Reagent Monitoring | All reagents are volume and cycle monitored. Operators are pre-warned of impending low reagent levels and of "run-out" status. |
| Irrigation Channel Control | A unique individual channel irrigation monitoring system operates throughout the cycle to guarantee that your 'scope is connected correctly and that the channels are clear. The system tests for correct connection six times during the cycle and ensures any faults with connections or channel flow are picked up and that the endoscope reprocessing efficacy is validated. |
| Sealed System | Soluscope's pressurised lid seal ensures no vapours or chemical contact for the operator. It is monitored and alarmed. |
| Leak Test | Soluscope's "leak test" can detect minor / major 'scope leaks as well as connection / disconnection status and failure of the valve to open. It protects your 'scope from damage and expensive repairs. It is continuous for the entire process and is monitored and alarmed. |
| Channel Flow Control | Soluscope has individual channels control systems that checks each channel for blockages at beginning, during and at the end of each cycle. It ensures correct amount of cleaner, disinfectant and rinse water has been flushed through each channel including the water-jet and ERCP elevator channel. It is monitored and alarmed. |
| Channel Connection Checks | Soluscope has a channels control check for connection and disconnection status during the entire cycle. This process validates every cycle with every endoscope in each machine. It is monitored and alarmed. |
| Dedicated Washing Cycle | Soluscope's dedicated washing cycle compliments the rigorous user cleaning technique and enhances Biofilm removal. It uses a unique acidic biocidal and biofilm removal detergent to prEN ISO 15883-5. |
| Single Use Biocide | Soluscope ensures that no-cross contamination through biocide reuse occurs. It uses a single shot, low concentration biocide at low temperature and short contact time. No decanting, priming or dumping is required. Soluscope can be ordered for peracetic acid (Sterile or HLD) or glutaraldehyde (HLD) use. |
| Secondary Biocide | A chlorine based secondary biocide is used at the end of the day to further ensure decontamination of the entire system including the dosing system and channel irrigation control system. |
| Capsule Filter Sterility | The capsule filter is automatically treated each cycle with the biocide and additionally with a secondary biocide at the end of each day (or as needed) to minimise the possibility of retro-contamination. |
| Endoscope Safety | Low temperature and low biocide concentrations with short contact time ensures safety for endoscopes. |
| Removal of Endoscope from Reprocessor | With infection control in mind, the large pneumatic lid release button allows the lid to be automatically opened without need for the operator to manually touch or lift the lid. |
| Sterile Air Drying | Sterile air drying cycle during each cycle and with additional sterile 70% alcohol for end of day cycle |
| Comprehensive Validation and Traceability | Printout of validated parameters, including injection data, temperature, times, channels control specification, filling times, cycle counter, endoscope number, operator and patient ID. |
| Barcode Reader | Data input allows patient details and / or operator details, cycle type and endoscope number. |
| Cost advantage | As required, choose HLD cycle for gastroscopes and colonoscopes OR, choose STERILE cycle for cytoscopes and bronchoscopes with different costs for each. |
